Tiwa Savage Lashes Journalist Who Tried To Downplay Her Brand

It has become a norm for many to always downplay the efforts of Nigerian artistes regardless of all they do to build their brand.

However, Tiwa Savage will not have anybody rubbish her brand for any reason whatsoever.

Recently, Tiwa savage “money shamed” a journalist named Omotolani who dared to ‘write down’ her ‘Ceilia album.’

According to reports, the Nigerian journalist described the singer as “struggling” in his music review of the album.

The article titled “Tiwa Savage’s struggling brand and her hilarious endorsement of ‘Mungo Parking’” was published by Motolani shortly after TIME Magazine named the singer’s recent body of work as one of the 10 best albums of 2020.

“Mungo Parking” is a term for achievement attained through “paid promotion, misinformation or ignorance”, so Omotolani is saying the singer was acknowledged by Time Magazine because she paid for it.

As if this was not enough, the journalist took to his Twitter handle to announce the article, published by PulseNigeria.

Reacting, Tiwa Savage didn’t take it lightly with the Journalist Omotolani calling his publication evil.

Tiwa went further to calling him a joker for thinking her brand is struggling. Because even her little son earns more than him and his entire company.
