Wizkid Speaks About Naira Marley, Check Out What He Said

Days after dropping his long awaited “Made in Lagos” album, Wizkid has had unquantifiable airtime to himself to speak on so many things and people.

Recently talking about his colleague in the music industry on Beat FM, Wizkid Said the unexpected about Naira Marley.

Having talked about all he had to do to ensure “Made in Lagos” is a success, he went on to say Naira Marley is one to be called a singer, too.

According to Wizkid, Naira Marley is one of the singers he listens to their songs, however, he can never go by the lyrics of his songs.

See his words:

On my playlist? I listen to everybody. There are so many Naira Marley songs I wish I sang but I can’t say the things he says. “There are people you don’t think I listen to that I do. Because you, as a musician, you’d be stupid not to pay attention to words around you, especially the young.

There are so many Naira Marley songs I wish I sang. But I can’t say the things he says, although they’re things I think about in my head. That’s why I love him.”

Isn’t this such a good acknowledgement for the King of Marlians?

Speaking of “Made in Lagos”, do you think it deserves the buzz it is giving to Starboy at present.
