However, a response from Wizkid to a fan who asked if the album will still drop amidst the uproar going on in the country proved otherwise.
Describing the times we’re in as mad times, Wizkid said an emphatic NOT YET!!
This ensued in mixed reactions between the fans. While some readily understood why this latest postponement was made, others weren’t too pleased.

My opinion? Even though we’ve waited for too long and are yearning to finally have Made in Lagos, this decision from Wizkid was the right one. Business-wise and morally so.
You don’t expect him to release this album now, do you? If not for anything, but the reason that’s he at the forefront of something very important.
Wizzy will give us Made in Lagos when all this is over, which we hope is soon.
