Naira Marley Goes Back On Planned EndSARS Protest, Gives IG 1Week To Make Changes
Despite the buzz given to the planned protest against FSARS championed by Naira Marley, the singer has taken a step backward from making the protest happen.
Shocking Marlians on twitter, Naira Marley said the EndSARS protest scheduled for 6th of October, 2020 will no longer hold, at least for now.
Stating the reason behind his decision, the king of Marlians noted that the inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu is currently doing something to stop the SARS extra-judicial killing in entirety.
However, he tamed the disappointment of his fans and followers, saying one week ultimatum has been given to the Police force to make the necessary changes called for, if not, the protest will then happen massively.
“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest.”
Meanwhile, reports has it that Naira Marley will be in talk with the Public Relations Officer of the Force, Frank Mba, on instalive to discuss the way forward on the matter.

While we might want to think the protest might never hold again, don’t you think it is nice that the federal government are beginning to take the 1st citizens seriously?
What does this societal shift hold for the nation, mostly as it is being championed by superstars?
