DJ Cuppy Joins Manchester United, Features in Jersey Campaign

Musician and DJ, Cuppy has been unveiled as a part of Manchester United’s campaign advert for their new jeresey.

The English football club Manchester United unveiled their third kit for the 2020-2021 season yesterday, Tuesday 8th of September.

The new jersey is designed by sports kit company Adidas and has distinct black and white stripes with red detailing.

Cuppy was featured in the jersey ad alongside Sam Wise, South London rapper and Harry Pinero, social media celebrity.

Cuppy took to her Twitter page to excitedly share a video of the ad:

This news comes after she ditched her former football club Arsenal barely three months ago. The ‘Jollof On The Jet” crooners exit from Arsenal came after they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Brighton in the Premier League.

She moved her tent to Manchester United on the condition that Odion Ighalo, Nigerian striker scores against Norwich City in the FA Cup.

“As a Nigerian I think it’s only right that if Odion Ighalo scores a goal today… I will officially join Manchester United as a fan,” she wrote.

African Giant Burna Boy also received the new jersey from Manchester United.
