UPDATE: Naira Marley Explains Why “Babatunde Fashola” Appeared On Manifest

Remember that Executive Jet Services Limited Boss, Sam Iwuajoku, recently released a letter? In which he explained what seemed like a mixup on the airline’s manifest list? The CEO apparently mistook a “Babatunde Fashola” on the list for that of former Lagos State Executive governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

The letter implied that Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley deliberately misled the flying service, there by successfully flying to the state capital illegally.

Well, it seems there was no foul play after all, And Naira in his ever comical nature was quick to explain this on social media.

Naira responded with a comical rebuttal via his verified twitter handle @officialnairam1 Explaining the confusion, he wrote the following words, clarifying that his little brother shared the name “Babatunde Fashola” with his little brother.

“Lool they asked for our names on the jet though and looooooooool ur pilot is a Marlian and everybody there is a Marlian too.. my name is Azeez Adeshina Fashola and my lil brothers name is moshood babatunde fashola and u was begging me to tag y’all”.

He concluded with a follow-up tweet, declaring that the over 20,000 Marlians who uses his airline monthly will stop doing so, that it was unforgivable being referred to as useless.

The Executive Jet Service Boss earlier referred to Naira and his team as a bunch of useless people.

Where there is drama, you’re definitely sure to see Naira at the center of it. In as much as the excuse given by the Executive Jet Services Boss was laughable, don’t you think it is time Azeez Fashola started steering away from controversies?

I know they say there isn’t such a thing as bad publicity, but don’t you think Naira is fast heading towards more than he can handle?
