The most heartwarming thing anyone can do is to give to the less privileged. This gesture goes a long way in sustaining those who are helpless, especially during these trying times the world is experiencing.
Afrobeats artistes are definitely not left out in the display of kindness, and they try to give out every now and then within their means, as individuals. One such Artiste is self acclaimed, African Giant Burna Boy.
Away from the controversies he has had lately, he did something worthy of a round of applause over the weekend.
Burna Boy sponsored a reaching out program, providing food items to over 300 families in his hometown at Egboama Ogbolo and neighboring Mbiama, all in Rivers State. He did this by teaming up with The Reach Project, #COVID19
Posting via his verified Twitter handle @burnaboy, he wrote the following words:
“Reaching out and Feeding over 300 families in Egboama Ogbolo (my hometown) and Mbiama, Rivers state today in Partnership @TheREACHNG Also special thanks To everyone that helped on the project today. Every little helps.”
Every little helps indeed!
I bet you agree that this is a fresh breath of air from all the back and forth with his fellow artistes.
This is definitely a laudable thing, one worthy of commendation. Well-done, Burna.
