Relationships exist for various reasons, and while some people view it as a rite of passage, nothing too serious, to others, it’s a big deal and should be treated with utmost importance.
Artiste Johnny Drille has revealed he is one of such old fashioned people who believes that one should only be in a relationship if it’s leading to a future.
He also said he doesn’t believe anyone’s time should be wasted, except its mutual.

The reason for dating varies biko. The most important thing is to ensure you and your partner are on the same page.

Adding the suffix “except it’s mutual” is really important. There shouldn’t be some sort of “commitment” if it’s all fun and games. Some people aren’t really ready for serious relationships at the same time some others want a marriage proposal on the first date. Whatever part of the spectrum you fall. Don’t waste another person’s time.

Some other reasons for dating could be to explore your feelings, not everything needs to be defined before getting in a relationship. Long term may not necessarily be the goal, but then again if it happens then ‘it is what it is’
