As the fight against Covid-19 continues, grand style donation has been recorded from figures across different industries, of which the entertainment industry is not found wanting.
Recently, playing in the all-in challenge amongst Hollywood stars which has made so many big names overseas donate big big things, an American rapper, Meek Mill, graciously donated his 2018 rolls royce worth 198 million naira to support the fight against Coronavirus.
Following suit is our very own Omobaba olowo, Davido who took to his instragram page to shock his fans and followers on what next he would not mind donating to alleviate the suffering of Covid-19 patients.
As shared on social media by Meek Mill that he is done with the multi million car that motivated him to chase success, hence donated it, Davido said he would not regret selling off his cars to help the needy at this time too.
The singer whose garage houses cars worth above 200 Million reveal that he could do this after nobody gave an “I can” answer to his “can anybody do what Meek Mill did” question on instragram.
Why this applaudable, the question is, is Davido onto another philanthropic move from the heart?
Or he wants to do this for self-glory?
As in, because Meek Mill did it, I should too?
Is this a show-off project for him or he is really affected by the pandemic surge bringing down victims by the day?
What do you think about all of these?
