The Nigerian Music Industry has over the years seen a large growth in numbers of talented Djs who set the dance floor on fire, give us something to relax with while listening to our favorite radio stations, and hit songs and even albums.





More than ever before,this and more have made DJs command much respect as artistes, sharing the spotlight with their works, getting international recognitions, big endorsement deals and even making a living with this skill. With everyone working hard to up their game on the wheel of steel;

DJ Jimmy Jatt: The history story of the Nigerian “DJ Industry” will be incomplete without a mention of DJ Jimmy Jatt. One of the few who has stayed relevant through the years, even as far back as when the industry was nothing more than either a side job or regular hobby. Jimmy Adewale Amu popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt is regarded as one of the pioneering Djs in Nigeria. He is also the pioneer of the Road Block Street Carnival which was at a point one of the accepted forum for hip hop artists to showcase their talent. Known for his Jimmy jump off concert and has performed in a number of notable shows and events including; the LL Cool J/Akon Star Mega Jam, 50cent Concert and lots more, DJ Jimmy Jatt has worked with top Nigerian like 2Baba,Burna boy, wizkid Soundsultan Neato C and has also won lots of award like the Hip Hop hall of fame at the headies in 2006.

DJ Spinall: Beyond being a DJ, Spinall has created such a brand for himself which has made him a sweetheart even in the music industry itself. This and more has flooded him with countless accolades within and outside the shores of Africa.
Sodamola Oluseye Desmond, professional known as DJ spinal is a Nigerian DJ sometimes referred to as the Cap, because of his trade mark of always wearing a cap which also inspired the name of his record label TheCAP music.

He came into spotlight in 2004 while working as radio DJ at Ray power FM. He later joined industry nite, and was also the official DJ to wande Coal while he was affiliated to Marvin Records. DJ spinal is the first Nigerian DJ to get an endorsement deal. He signed a deal with Smirnoff in 2015, and Pepsi in 2018. He has performed in notable events like the Bet awards in 2017, Afro nation, Portugal in 2019 and lots more. He has collaborated with various acts including Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Mr. Eazi, Kizz Daniel, and many more.
He is a graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Olabisi Onabanjo University. He was won lots of notable Awards like African DJ of the year at the sound City Mvp awards in 2018. Though He has is own record label he is still currently signed to Atlantic records and Warner Chappell Music, both in the UK.

DJ Neptune: His name has become a signature for the prelude of hit songs. At the moment, his song ‘Nobody’ featuring Joeboy and Mr Eazi is doing justice to this claim.
Imohiosen Patrick popularly known as DJ Neptune started his professional career as a house DJ for Ray power Fm. Neptune became Naeto C‘s official DJ in 2008. He has put out several mixtapes and has released hit tracks like 123, This Gbedu, So Nice, Baddest, Wait, Demo, Tear Rubber, and more. He currently has his own record label; Neptune entertainment. and has lots of award like international best DJ at the Africa entertainment Awards in 2010 and lots more.

The track, ‘Nobody’ is the second single to be released from his upcoming project The Greatness II [Sounds of Neptune] following the successful debut single “Tomorrow” featuring Victor AD.

DJ Exclusive: Yasss! Drifting a little from his art, DJ Exclusive is exclusively the most handsome in his sphere. Argue with your key pad baby!
DJ Exclusive, as we know is a Nigerian DJ, producer and recording artiste who also drops his personal hit singles as he pleases. He professionally started his career as a disc jockey in the year 2003 while he performed in various night clubs. Exclusive then became a DJ in a radio station named Cool FM 96.9 in 2001 owned by Daddy Freeze. Since then he has not relented in his career,he has released singles like ibebe,gbomo and many more.

DJ Lamborghini: In a male dominated industry, Lambo has continuously risen the very top of her game, creating an undeniable niche for herself.
Olawunmi Okerayi popularly known as DJ Lamborghini or for short DJ Lambo is a Nigerian disc jockey who started her career professionally in the year 2009. She has played for Raypower, Rhythm FM. She was signed to Loopy music in 2013 before it merged with Chocolate city in 2015. Lambo has won DJ of the year at the 2016 City People Entertainment awards. NET listed her as one of the top 5 Nigerian DJ’s to watch out for.Also in 2017, DJ Lambo was among the few DJs selected to play at Big brother Nigeria season 2 Saturday party. Lambo has been performing in other notable events and shows, she’s a personality to reckon with.

DJ kaywise: Now if you’re looking for a synonym for ‘meeeed oh’ then DJ Kaywise is just the perfect fit. Aside his ace in the sphere, he has proven to be a guy with a big heart, grooming more and more to the ‘DJ Dynasty’.
Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki with the trade name DJ Kaywise is unarguably the most outstanding DJs in the class of street bounce in Nigeria as he is well recognized by industry shareholders for his amazing and trendy mixtape in Africa and Diaspora. He has carved a niche for himself as a Nigerian DJ and organizes an annual concert Joor that brings together a large crowd.

He has worked with a number of artists including Ice Prince, Iyanya, Olamide, Dammy Krane, and others. He sure knows how to distinguish himself, especially with the way he mixes the drum sounds to his flow. Yaaay, DJ Kaywise is our very own African Drummer Boy! Trust you’re not just knowing about this.

DJ Sose: He’s just a light to bright to be hidden. The tattoted face ace DJ is no doubt amongst the A-list DJs in Nigeria. Thomas Amar Aigbe popularly known as DJ Sose is an half cast whose father is a Nigerian and mother a Hungarian.
DJ Sose is one DJ that derives joy in setting up dance floors with cool music in other to relief one self from stress and all negativity been experienced.
Please his face tattoo was made as a brand mark that helped him to become popular and easy to identify from the other DJs in the industry.
