Do What You Like – Marley Tells Marlians

Indeed it is one thing to be a fantastic singer and it is another to know what it takes to pull the crowd to one’s doing even if it has nothing to do with music, proving this, is Naira Marley who out of the blues, pulled a Fela pose on all his fans to rejig excitement among Marlians.

The king of Marlians recalled the memory of Fela Anikulapo kuti following the demonstration of the salutation style of the Music legend to interest his fans alike.

Taking to instagram, the “soapy” crooner was seen standing ontop of a car while being surrounded by Marlians which perhaps, ignited a “Fela-feeling” making him raise his both hands up in the air exactly as Fela would have it in his time.

See post:

As if that was not crowd-calling enough,  the primacy of the post and pose was his kingly-advise to his subjects that they should let freedom of self – expression lead their living no matter what.

He captioned the photo as thus:

“Take control of your own life, be free. Doing what you like is freedom and you should be happy doing it.”

Hmmmmm, Words on Marble!

For some time now, the King of Marlians has in every was being projecting a different narrative for the Marlians to debunk the notion that Marlians are threat to the sanity of the society.

However, taking a cue from his advise in the photo, would it really be in favour of the society if the Marlian do whatever they like as instructed by Naira Marley?

Ain’t the news going to be awashed with stories from the unbecoming of some of his subjects.

Where exactly is the tin line drawn in this advice given to his subjects?

If not, could we say the Marlian narrative is really changing already?

Well, as expected we should hope so.

Away from the assessment of his words, his legendary post erupted a lot reactions couched in love words for the Mafo crooner.

To many, it is the return of Fela in person of Naira Marley.

What do you say it is?

    1. very well, he sure do understands what stardom demands that even when he is not in a music conversation anymore, he knows how to always be in the faces of people with a crowd-pulling act or words. he is just alot.

    1. Zach! i would be wrong to say you havent typed the truth, he is going to enjoy this stardom for long due to his calculated play per time in the industry.

As it stands now, he is indirectly comparing himself to Fela and as you can see, his subject has taken him to be Fela of their time.

Music is the weapon! Leave a comment... keep it clean.
