This album can be said to be a master piece for the fast growing star, Wizkid, now a boss in the music sphere.
It was almost like the artiste already knew his audience and also knew how to attract and sustain their attention. Every track on the album from ‘Say my name’, ‘Pakurumo’, ‘Wad up’, ‘I love my baby’, ‘Holla At your boy’ and many more was a hit. Fans “vibed” along and always knew Wizkid obviously had a lot in store for them. ‘Holla At Your Boy’, got a lot of people talking and focusing on the swag and dance moves in the musical video. Although the ‘Superstar Album’ has aged, however, the songs within will always feel like it was just recorded yesterday. You won’t be wrong if you call it ‘ever green’!

Invasion by Psquare

Friends, there are no words to use to quantify both the impact and the quality of this album. A massive one in all ramifications. At a time when the duo, Psquare was undisputed as the biggest in Africa, the album was given Album of the year at the 2012 Headies.
On the album, hits like “Beautiful Onyinye, Chop my money, Bunieya enu, Do as I do, were songs listeners and fans could play on repeat. The most important part or track of this album was the “Beautiful Onyinye” which got remixed featuring an American rapper Rick Ross. Like many other love songs by Psquare, it was also tagged as a wedding anthem in Nigeria, as there was no wedding party without “Beautiful Onyinye” on the beat. That was so likely to be impossible!

MI2 by MI Abaga

On every hit, came a synergy of English rap and a commercial beat, making it an album to reckon with in all ramifications. At the 2011 Headies award, Mi2 was named Best rap album.

Simisola by Simi

This album was released on the 8th of September 2017. When she came up with the single “Tiff”, “Jamb question”, and “Open and close”, making more attention given and focused on her songs. Simi basically made afro-folk and love songs become hits. The likes of “Smile for me”, “Joromi”, are not the party kind of songs, yet irresistible to many individual playlists.
