It’s no news that Nigerian entertainers, especially singers, are no longer going to play second fiddle in the society as we have over the years seen many of them kicking any ass that wants to play “ten ten” with their intelligence.
To prove that entertainers are not stupid, Paul Okoye has called out the Nigeria Copyright Commission, NCC, for allegedly kidnapping “someone” whose name has not been mentioned yet by the singer.
The former Psquare star took to his instagram page to question the uncodified, unrecognized and unconstitutional power of the NCC to arrest, detain and ask for bail.
Expressing his astonishment over the situation, Paul stated this:
“I never knew the Nigeria Copyright Commission NCC are kidnappers, they can detain and ask for bail…Dear NCC I’m about to fuck shit up for you guys…try me,”.
The “Try me” part points to the fictional fact the “someone” in the shit of NCC must be a “vein” of the singer.
No wonder the “audio money” crooner is so pained.
But wait, with the kind of “empty” drama we have always been graced with on social media, could we say this is an audio rant?
Since a name is not put to the person actually involved for the world to have a direction of thought over the issue, could we say the singer is trying to cover the shit of someone we might be really interested in?
Because this might just be another “you steal my song” issue among singers in the industry as we’ve seen well known singers caught in the copyright web.
From 2Face Idibia and former groupmate, BlackFace to Runtown and his erstwhile record label, Eric Many and the likes.
But in this scenario, Who is really involved here?
Who be this person?
There is more, as the former member of defunct Psquare threatens to deal with NCC.
Wait for it.
Trust us na, we go definitely find out, feed una as the story dey go.
